Akrasel welcomed the Sixth Green Flag and the confirmation to be the first UNESCO Preschool in Iceland

Wednesday May 25th was a big day in Akrasel, when the kindergarten welcomed the sixth Green Flag of The Landvernd and the confirmation to be the first UNESCO Preschool in Iceland. The President of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson attended with mayor Sævar Freyr Þráinsson and director of education for Landvernd and project manager of UNESCO schools in Iceland. 

At 2:30 p.m., the delivery of landvernd's sixth Green Flag began, and the preschool was also handed a confirmation that it was the first accredited UNESCO preschool in Iceland.

The President of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson attended with mayor Sævar Freyr Þráinsson and director of education for Landvernd and project manager of UNESCO schools in Iceland. Mr. Guðni Th. Jóhannesson President of Iceland presented Anney Ágústsdóttir, director of the Preschool The Green Flag of Landvernd and the confirmation to be the first UNESCO preschool in Iceland in a fun ceremony outside in the garden of our preschool.
